Critics and peers agree: Brian Regan has distinguished himself as one of the premier comedians in the country. The perfect balance of sophisticated writing and physicality, Brian fills theaters nationwide with fervent fans that span generations.
On November 25, 2011, Brian's highly anticipated second album, All By Myself, was released on CD available only through his website. The live concert recording was originally released as a digital download in December 2010 only available through his website. Releasing two critically acclaimed hour Comedy Central specials and DVDs in as many years - 2008's The Epitome of Hyperbole, and 2007's Brian Regan Standing Up - Brian has set a standard of excellence that others continually try to follow. The Epitome of Hyperbole has also been seen on CMT.
Brian's non-stop theater tour has visited more than 80 cities each year since 2005 and continues through 2012. It is the quality of his material, relatable to a wide audience and revered by his peers, which continues to grow Brian's fan base. In January of 2012 Brian broke the record for the most consecutive shows by a comedian at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City with ten sold-out shows selling more than 26,000 tickets. In March of 2010, Brian performed five sold-out shows at Abravanel Hall breaking the previous record of four shows set by Jerry Seinfeld in 2005.
With his first appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman in 1995, Brian solidified his place on the show and this year he made his 25th appearance, the most of any comedian on the CBS show. A dorm room favorite, Brian's 1997 CD, Brian Regan Live, has sold over 150,000 copies and consistently charts in iTunes Top Ten Comedy Albums. Brian's 2000 Comedy Central Presents special continues to be a top viewer choice and Brian's independently released 2004 DVD, I Walked on the Moon, is available on his website.

Not many comedians have been continuously doing stand-up as long as Brian Regan. In a modern world filled with comedians tackling adult and profane subjects, Regan has kept his act clean, making him one of the only stand-up comedians appropriate for kids (kids that like stand-up anyway). He's characterized by his biting observational humor, goofy voices, and trademark squint. Brian has been touring almost continuously since 2005, with over eighty shows a year. Brian Regan is back again with a 2011 tour, chock full of modern material, including sets about getting old; something his comedy will never do.
Brian Regan broke onto the mainstream stand-up scene in 1992 when he appeared on The A-List. The talented comedian soon earned his first televised special, Something's Wrong with the Regan Boy, in 1992. In 1995, Brian began appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman, which would continue throughout his career and would garner him significant exposure. Some moviegoers might remember when, in 1998, Regan began appearing in small comedy "vignettes" played in movie theaters as a part of Coca Cola's Concession Stand Up Comedy. Brian Regan also appeared as himself on the popular Comedy Central animated series Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist around the same time he released a cd of his stand-up, aptly titled Brian Regan Live.
A milestone for many comedians came for Brian in 2000 when he became one of the earlier stand-up comedians to be featured on Comedy Central Presents. In 2004, Brian performed his second televised stand up special, I Walked on the Moon at the Irvine Improv, which is still one of his most popular specials. Regan struck a huge deal with Comedy Central in 2007, part of which included the comedian performing two hour long, televised stand-up specials that would be released on DVD. The deal also included performing a stand-up theater tour, which began on June 8, 2007. The first televised performance was one of the first shows on the tour, and was titled Standing Up. The second special was filmed almost a year later, entitled Epitome of Hyperbole; both specials ended up selling considerably well. Brian Regan's latest album, All By Myself, was released in 2010 and is only available on his website through digital download.
Since his last release, Brian Regan has been extensively touring, and this year is no exception. Brian's currently on a 2011 tour that's headed through the southern United States in the first half of April. From the later half of April through June, Brian will be touring on the east coast, before jumping all around the United States on recently added 2011 tour dates. Brian's last scheduled show date for the tour will be on December 10 in New Brunswick, NJ. With Brian Regan constantly on tour, fans who are interested in going to see him should check Eventful soon, as he's not in once place for long.
